3 Easy Ways to Attract More Money (+ 2 Bonus Feng Shui $$ Tips!)

Happy Hump Day! Or in the world of Yes to the Ying– #WealthWednesday!

That’s right! Today’s blog post is all about:

MONEY!

Money is something we would all like to have more of and often times it is a mystery as to how to get more of it.  Money is also a touchy subject for most people, so I would like to demystify the process of how to manifest more money faster and easier and with more FUN!

Because who else wants money to flow more easily and effortlessly into their bank accounts?!

I know I do!

Money is basically a synonym for FREEDOM. 

Because money affords you more CHOICES.

And the more choices you have, the more FREEDOM you have to fully experience life the way that you desire to!

(and #secretfromtheuniverse– You were born to live a life of abundance! It is your birthright to have and spend as much money as you desire!)

OKAY! Let’s dive in–

First thing’s first:

Money isn’t good or bad.

It’s neutral.

It’s just energy.

It’s simply a tool we use to exchange for things and services that we want to have.

That’s it!

So if money is just a neutral energy, it will flow to wherever the current takes it (it’s called “currency” after all!

SO– if it flows wherever it is attracted, then all you need to do to attract it is to become an energetic match for it.

In order to become an energetic match to the money that you want, you have to truly believe that you can have all that money!

Sounds simple right?

How in the heck do you do that?!

I’ll tell you!

3 SIMPLE WAYS TO START ATTRACTING MORE MONEY TO YOU:

#1 Think more about abundance than you do about lack

If you do not have the amount of money in your bank account that you want, then you may very well be focusing more of your attention on the lack of it than the abundance of it that you could make. One of the easiest ways to shift your focus to abundance is to look around you. Right now. Everything you see was purchased with money. Your desk, your home, your computer, your phone. The clothes you are wearing. Even the food you have been putting in your body for your whole life was purchased with money. So you see– there’s a bunch of money already all around you! Take a moment to write down a list of all the things you have bought with money and then express some gratitude for that money that bought you all of those things!

#2 Write down all the things you would do if you got all the money that you desired

Money likes to have a purpose. So give it a reason to be in your life. For example, if you want $10k this month, what would you use the $10k for? Pay off your credit cards? Get a tattoo you’ve been dying to get? Buy that coveted purse you’ve been eyeing? Purchase more hours with your coach to help you grow your business? Hire a house cleaner so you can focus on building your dream job? Donate money to a charity that is close to your heart? Book a trip to an exotic location that you’ve always wanted to go to? Give your money a reason for coming into your life. And focus on how it will make you feel to be able to purchase all those things and to do all those activities. Remember– money is simply a synonym for freedom. The more money you have, the more choice you get as to what you want to do. And that is an exhilarating thought to have endless options!

#3 Practice believing that you can afford what you want

This is one of my favorite things to do in order to increase the amount of money I believe I can have! I call it the “I Can Afford That!” game. 

Here’s how it works: Go to the mall or any store of your choosing. Walk around and look for items that spark your fancy. When you see something you like, say to yourself (or out loud): I CAN AFFORD THAT! Feel how good it feels if you could really afford that thing. Then find another thing you want, look at the price tag, and say: I CAN AFFORD THAT! Then find another item. And then another. And then another. And feel how good it feels to be able to afford it! 

NOTE: this doesn’t mean you have to buy it. It just means you can afford it.

The more you mentally feel good about spending that money and feeling like you can afford it, more money will come to you! Or even better– the item that you liked may even go on sale so you actually CAN afford it! Totally happened with these badass white Athleta leggings that I tried on yesterday! BONUS TIPS! 

I can’t help myself but share with you TWO Feng Shui money attracting tips that work really well for me!

BONUS TIP #1: Draw a red dollar sign in the middle of your LEFT palm.

To attract more money into your life, take a red Sharpie and draw a red dollar sign (or whatever currency you use) on the palm of your left hand. Do this for 15 days starting from any New Moon (so you can start doing this TODAY) and watch the money flow in!

Why does this work:

Red = activating color of prosperity and good luck

Left hand = Left hand represent what you want to receive (Right hand represent what you want to give out to the world)

Dollar sign = Money! Cha-ching!
